Daryl Martin started Independent Examiners almost 25 years ago. He’s still involved in the background and today there’s a great team of specialists providing the UK’s leading Independent Examination service. After years of building his network of trusted friends and clients, in 2010, Daryl set up Advice For the Voluntary Sector as a support and advice organisation to provide ongoing charity advice and training. In 2020 his daughter and son-in-law began working with him on a transition that has seen the business he created move from strength to strength. In 2021 Advice For the Voluntary Sector changed its name to the simpler; Trust Advice. We have a wonderful team capable of handling all manner of charity matters across both Independent Examiners and Trust Advice.
Independent Examination is as much about relationships as it is about numbers. Daryl has spent many years understanding the needs of charities and our client list reflects the relationships he and the team have built. As we look back over 25 years since the first few clients, it is humbling to know those early charities remain with us today. As we look ahead beyond the complexity of 2020, we hope to continue to be a support and safe harbour for our many clients, old and new.
